Analysis of demographic factors influencing the perception of floor impact noise: A case study of Gwangju Metropolitan City

층간소음 인식에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 요인 분석: 광주광역시 사례를 중심으로

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze demographic factors influencing neighbor noise annoyance. The analysis utilized data from the 2021 Gwangju Social Survey (covering 4,905 households), employing statistical analysis and Nightingale rose diagrams. The results revealed statistically significant relationships between neighbor noise annoyance and employment status, work status, and administrative district. In the district-level analysis, Gwangsan-gu showed the highest rate of highly annoyed responses. Among employment categories, temporary or daily worker exhibited a high proportion of annoyance. This study demonstrated that neighbor noise annoyance in Gwangju Metropolitan City is influenced by complex interactions of various demographic and social factors. These results suggest the need for targeted noise management policies that specifically address the distinct characteristics of different regions and socioeconomic groups.

본 연구는 층간소음 성가심에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 요인을 분석하고자 수행되었다. 2021년 광주 사회조사 데이터(4,905가구 대상)를 대상으로 통계 분석과 나이팅게일 로즈 다이어그램를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 종사상 지위, 일 여부, 그리고 행정구역이 층간소음 성가심과 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구별 분석에서는 광산구가 가장 높은 성가심 응답률을 보였다. 고용 상태별로는 임시 및 일용 근로자 그룹에서 성가심 비율을 보였다. 본 연구는 광주광역시의 층간소음 성가심이 다양한 인구사회학적 요인들의 복잡한 상호작용에 영향을 받고 있음을 밝혔다. 이러한 결과는 지역별, 계층별 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 소음 관리 정책 수립의 필요성을 시사한다.
